An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well-motivated and dynamic Associate Specialist to join the Tyler Ward (male PICU) at Cygnet Wing Blackheath.

Cygnet Wing Blackheath, part of Cygnet Health Care, is a 32-bed independent psychiatric unit which provides assessment and treatment to adult male patients from the NHS in a low secure and intensive care environment. The service also provides a prison transfer scheme, providing assessment and recommendations on prisoners to courts and commissioners.

Applicants should have full GMC registration with at least 18 months' psychiatric experience, preferably in a forensic setting and should be able to demonstrate an interest in the advertised client groups. MRCPsych is desirable but not essential and support and study is provided for those wishing to take these exams. Participation in the 1 in 5 on call rota is optional.
