Centrica is an integrated energy company operating upstream by developing and investing in new sources of gas and power and downstream with strong brands like British Gas and Dyno. Working within our expanding British Gas Business (BGB) Energy Services Team, we seek an aM&T System Operations Manager to extract maximum value across all areas of energy management from Smart metering to building controls and end user reporting.

Manager - aM&T System Operation, Overview

• Base salary to £40K Package to c. £49K

• Manage the energy management monitoring and targeting aM&T system thereby delivering energy efficiency for business customers
  
• Define and build a support capability for internal and external customers
  
• Manage the operational budget with 3rd party vendors and SLA's
  
• Project manage a new customer base by understanding and implementing new system configurations
  
• Manage the end to end process from design through to delivery of the operational requirements to meet business needs
  
• Act as the key interface with business customers to resolve complex queries and manage system application development/support
  
• Manage the administration of system users, customers, updates and upgrades
  
• Implement robust data management processes to ensure that data input, processing and tracking meets our service level agreements
  
• Track and report on key system metrics for the business customer base

Please ensure your application shows evidence of the following:-


• An undergraduate Computer Science degree OR database knowledge of Oracle 9i, SQL analytical queries and Java scripting
  Strong interest in energy management and energy efficiency products and services
  
• Ability to converse knowledgably with customers (internal & external), accurately interpret their requirements into a complex system and understand reporting techniques for development and distribution
  
• Strong analytical capability combined with the interest to delve into the detail, manage complex data and present results in an understandable format
