Reporting to the Managing Director of TUI Ski and operating as part of the TUI Ski senior management team; this new role will be responsible for leading and developing a dynamic marketing function to leverage the brand's unique position in both the ski and summer markets. Job Purpose and Summary This position will play a critical role in the development, presentation, and implementation of cohesive analyses of markets, prospects, and competitors. The primary function of the role is to conduct primary market research and to analyse market data provided by secondary sources to enable business strategy & growth. The role is responsible for all the market intelligence & performance analysis and reporting, Accountability also extends to the entire market sizing for budget & tracking purposes, identification of product & customer opportunities as well as support for all projects from a research perspective. The role also undertakes several primary research projects on a UK & European basis. Experience working with market research tools and a deep understanding of research methodology is a prerequisite. You will work with a diverse range of contacts both within the UK and our European operation. In addition, the ability to develop strong relationships with key customers & suppliers is essential. Responsibilities and Tasks Market, product & customer performance analysis & reporting based on secondary research data. Market pricing trend analysis & competitor tracking. Conducting primary & secondary research projects. Translate industry trends and challenges into opportunities and threats for the firm. Prepare written and oral presentations on prospects, markets, and competitor activities. Execution of business plans in line with objectives. Collect and analyze data on customer demographics, preferences, needs, and buying habits to identify potential markets and factors affecting product demand. Brief local & European teams on opportunities & threats. Involved in the Budget & Planning. Required Skills and Qualifications University degree specialising in Marketing Management. Two years highly relevant experience in a similar role. High level of numeracy with good attention to detail. Experience with use of market research tools & techniques. Confident with strong interpersonal skills. Uses available tools to inform a complete picture of the customer and uses this information to plan activities. Uses financial tools to achieve business objectives and to quantify the costs, benefits and risks of sales strategies. Communication: Delivers well-constructed messages comfortably and confidently with top management. Provides diplomatic guidance to others on how to communicate effectively. Takes into account how different audiences are likely to react and chooses the best method of communicating the message to each audience - adapts to different audiences.
