We are looking for a Cost Accountant for a well established organisation based in Reigate for a 3-6 month interim opportunity. The ideal candidate will be an experienced qualified Cost Accountant to join this company at a busy time. Duties will include: preparation of monthly accounts; active involvement in annual setting of standard costs for materials and labour absorption rates; product costing preparation; provision of costing data for multiple supply chain models; stock valuation; proactively develop controls or processes that will enhance the reliability of costing data. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and be flexible in their approach. You should be hands-on when required and have a desire to understand all elements of the company. In order to be suitable for this role, you must have extensive experience of cost accounting within a manufacturing, engineering or constriction environment and be qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW).
