Branch Manager Bridgend Sulzer Dowding & Mills are a global leader in the repair and maintenance of high voltage electrical motors and generators, and related services across several industries. As part of our continued and impressive growth, we are currently recruiting for a Branch Manager at our Bridgend site, where the successful candidate will hold total P&L responsibility for the branch, ensuring its success by agreeing, implementing and monitoring individual and branch objectives and targets whilst ensuring company policies and procedures are adhered to. Duties will include, but not be limited to:- - Development of new and existing business via sales strategy and product management - Maintenance of a strategic plan which supports business strategy - Motivational leadership of the business unit in the provision of a customer focused multi-functional business - Commercial focus to the business, ensuring that margins are maximised and that costs controlled - Develop and coach supervisors to ensure efficient and effective management of sites - Monitor performance levels of branch employees, identifying areas for improvement and addressing as required - Ensure that all HSEQ standards are met and adhered to You will be demonstrate a strong Electrical Engineering background, preferably in a repairs / maintenance environment, with demonstrable knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office applications, the principles of quality assurance, quality control and health and safety legislation, whilst possessing proven communication skills (both oral and written). It is highly likely that you will have completed a formal apprenticeship or training scheme, and will possess proven man management skills and experience of managing staff, allied to a strong customer focus, with demonstrable adaptability in approach to offering our range of services.
