The role primarily covers the credit control for the UK based Tui Specialist brands with bookings on the Travelink reservations system. This includes Hayes & Jarvis, Thomson Worldwide, Sovereign, Meon Villas, Citalia, Austravel, Flexible Flights, Jetsave and Travelmood. Job Description My client is a specialist independent financial administrator to hedge funds and asset management firms. The successful candidate will have a background in discipline such as product control or fund accounting, and will need to liaise with staff and clients on a variety of accounting and operational issues. It is important that applicants are used to dealing with clients (internal or external) and have the ability to develop and maintain important client relationships. Main Responsibilities * To act as the senior point of contact for hedge fund clients. Ensuring there is good dialogue between the client and relevant departments and ensuring that all client issues are managed and that they are kept up to date with internal changes and new initiatives * Be the subject matter expert for any accounting issues clients may raise. This could be on daily P&L processes, to the monthly NAV, to financial statements * Establish and drive strong relationships with clients and maintain regular client contact to ensure that satisfaction levels are high * Day to day remote management of processes to ensure daily P&L and accounting functions are performed accurately and within service level agreements * Review NAVs to ensure standards are adhered to * Day to day interaction with other departments and counterparts to prevent/ resolve issues related to the department and the client * Perform a regular review of all MIS to monitor breaks and perform root cause analysis.
