Our client, a well known Distributor of branded goods, is looking to recruit a qualified Financial Analyst to work in its Commercial Finance team. Candidates will need to possess solid management accounting skills as they will be liaising with the Financial Accounting team to review the UK P&L, month end process and make the necessary adjustments, support the planning process; producing monthly forecasts, budgets and assisting with the strategic and operational plan. You will also work closely with the Sales teams to monitor stock levels, minimising margin leakage and assist with the delivery of sales targets, pricing and discounting activity. You will ideally have held a business partnering role or possess experience working alongside non-Finance teams previously. Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and v-look ups are essential. This is a truly commercial role with the potential for the role to go permanent in the future.

We are currently looking for an all-rounder Finance Manager for a service based organisation in the Merseyside/Lancashire area. This is a 12 month maternity cover role, we are seeking a qualified Accountant who is able to look after a number of activities such as treasury deposits, managing commercial contracts, attending board meetings and communicating with stakeholders and other Directors. You will be able to produce monthly management accounts, annual statutory accounts, manage banking relationships, credit control etc. You will effectively be in charge of your own small business and therefore the FD requires someone that they can trust to leave, confident that it is under control. You will be a good communicator; meticulous with good attention to detail you will be a confident Excel user. You will also be involved with compliance and other regulatory issues. Project accounting experience would be advantageous but not mandatory, the key will be to pick things up quickly and able to operate un-supervised. In summary, if you are a qualified Accountant with good all-round accounting skills with experience in different sectors/roles and are able to produce accounts accurately and be involved in commercial issues then we would like to hear from you.

A well-established, dynamic organisation in Cheshire is urgently looking to appoint a part-qualified Financial Analyst on a permanent basis. Reporting to the Group Finance Manager you will have prime responsibility for managing the workflow and assisting with any projects impacting the Group Compensation team. The role will also involve working with the Business Analysis team to complete the Quarterly Affinity Advance Impairment Review, discussing recommendations with management, reconciling all group compensation nominal on a monthly basis, assisting with a full control review of all processes within the Group Compensation team, providing assistance on internal and external audits, recommending and implementing improvements where risks have been identified and other ad hoc duties. It is essential you are both technically and analytically strong with an advanced level of MS Excel. You will also be able to work to tight deadlines with excellent verbal and written communication skills. You must be part-qualified in CIMA, ACCA, or ACA. Applicants who are qualified by experience will be considered if you have a Financial Services background or have worked in a large organisation working on high complexities. It is also desirable that you have experience of working with Oracle and MS Access. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a well-established global business.
