As part of our continued and impressive growth, we are currently recruiting for an Electro Mechanical Fitter who will be based at our London site to test & repair heavy electrical rotating equipment . KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Duties include but are not limited to: Testing, fault finding and dismantling of AC induction motors, reassembling and testing. Testing, fault finding and dismantling of DC motors, reassembling and testing Testing, fault finding and dismantling of slip ring motor, reassembling and testing Testing, fault finding and dismantling of generators AC & DC, reassembling and testing SKILLS / EXPERIENCE *Time served apprentice *The successful candidate will be conversant with both the test and repair of LARGE AC and DC electric motors and generators. *Excellent communication skills *Minumum Level NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a related Engineering discipline is highly advantageous This is an exciting opportunity to work with a market leading organisation during a period of growth. High Voltage Electrical Rewinder Hackney, East London Sulzer Dowding & Mills are a global leader in the repair and maintenance of high voltage electrical motors and generators, and related services across several industries. As part of our continued and impressive growth, we are currently recruiting for a High Voltage Electrical Rewinder who will be based at our East London site to rewind and test various kinds of high voltage electro-mechanical equipment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: *Inspect electro-mechanical equipment for damage and evidence of electrical malfunctions *Test condition of windings *Document all relevant data specific to unit's electro-magnetic characteristics, operating conditions, existing damage, or intended serviceability *Dismantle and / or strip damaged or unserviceable electro-mechanical equipment *Prepare all reusable parts for rewinding and inspect renewed parts for hidden, structural damage or unusual conditions. *Rewind various kinds of electro-mechanical equipment, including single-phase, three-phase, dc fields, armatures, wound stators and transformers. Observe proper insulating techniques and / or requirements during rewinding. *Test rewound electro-mechanical equipment and document test results. *Operate specialized repair and testing equipment, including winding machines, test panels, surge testers, core-loss testers, cut-off saws, burnout ovens, bake ovens, grinders, cranes, forklift trucks, brazing units, dip tanks, VPI systems and various hand held power and non-power tools. *Observe all safety procedures and use proper protective gear (especially eye and ear protection) *Keep work area neat and clean as directed by supervisor. *Perform other skilled or non-skilled duties as directed by supervisor. *Complete required paperwork for each job accurately and on a timely basis. SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED *Basic mechanical aptitude *Stripping and rewinding of AC/DC motors and other electro-mechanical equipment *Previous experience of dismantling, rewinding, assembling and testing of electro-mechanical equipment PROEFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS *Formal apprenticeship in electrical engineering or electrical machine repair and rewinds This is an exciting opportunity to work with a market leading organisation during a period of growth. Team Administrator (Part-time). Central Markets Investment Management Ltd is a City-based, growing Alternative Investment Management House, focussed on boutique absolute return investment strategies. This is a busy, professional Team who require extra support from a proactive, professional and personable individual, to be their Team Administrator, 5 mornings per week. This Team Administrator role is a fantastic opportunity to learn all aspects of the administration and back office mechanics of a business and become an integral part of the team, with scope to contribute on specific projects such as Client Account Management and Marketing, as you establish yourself in the role. As Team Administrator, supporting a busy team of 5 including the MD, you will be responsible for: * Diary Management for the MD; scheduling, monitoring and confirming meetings and locations including room bookings for all internal meetings. * Meeting preparation, recording and follow-up where appropriate; printing of reports and agendas, minute taking and circulation. * Drafting and amending company documents including Employment Contracts and all Marketing materials such as Brochures, Factsheets and Presentations. * Providing excellent customer service to Clients, particularly distributing and monitoring of all documentation during the on-boarding stage. * Acting as a point of contact for IT queries, facilities, stationary, compliance, accounting, and marketing. * All ad hoc administration including filing, photocopying, scanning, maintaining company files and information, managing contacts, call fielding etc. * Some basic accounting, entering data onto an accounting system and managing expenses. Prerequisites for Team Administrator The Individual * A proactive and self-motivated individual. * Reliable and highly organised with a keen eye for detail. * A positive, can-do attitude is absolutely necessary. * A team player with the ability to work alone, juggling workload when busy. * Strong communication skills across colleagues and clients at all levels. Experience * Previous work experience is required with a preference for experience in the Financial Services Industry. Ideal previous roles would include team administrator / support, client services, customer service. * Excellent written English and an excellent telephone manner. * Confident user of Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint. * Any experience using Sage Accounting / Payroll would be an advantage but not a necessity. administration pa back office client account management marketing
