Our client a dynamic and progressive Manufacturing and Sales business is currently looking to recruit an interim Sales Accountant to join its Northamptonshire based Finance team. Reporting to the FC, this role will include the following core activities: supporting multi-channel Sales and Marketing teams with commercial and operational decision-making; analysis of margin and productivity ratios; raw material and stock depreciation; production of monthly and quarterly management accounts packs; budgets, sales, forecasts and business plans; investment appraisals for existing and future projects; to assist Procurement teams with discounting, pricing and margin models for projected production and profitability purposes; as well as working with Customer and Production teams to assist them with the development and testing of new product lines. The successful candidate will have a good appreciation of a strong balance sheet and will be a commercially aware qualified or Finalist level Accountant with excellent management accounting, forecasting and budgeting experience; gained from working within a fast moving, FMCG, manufacturing and sales focused business. Advantageous to this role are strong data manipulation skills including advanced level MS Excel.
