Site Engineer Glasgow Sulzer Dowding & Mills are a global leader in the repair and maintenance of high voltage electrical motors and generators, and related services across several industries. As part of our continued and impressive growth, we are currently recruiting for a Site Engineer who will be based at our Glasgow site to carry out onsite repair and installation of motor drives and associated automation equipment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Selecting, programming and operating AC and DC inverter type motor drives. Attend customer's sites for the installation, service and commission variable speed drives and other automation equipment, PLC and Controls. Service, repair and installation of electronic variable speed drives and systems. SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Previous experience in the repair of variable speed drives and Inverters, preferably to component level. A high level of product knowledge is critical with this role.
