Crystal is the market leading brand for ski and snowboard holidays in the UK and also has a leadership position within the important lakes and mountains market in the summer. Reporting to the Managing Director of TUI Ski and operating as part of the TUI Ski senior management team; this new role will be responsible for leading and developing a dynamic marketing function to leverage the brand's unique position in both the ski and summer markets. What You'll Be Doing * Responsible for defining and executing a multi-channel marketing strategy to deliver growth by identifying and targeting new customers and maximizing existing customer relationships * Define and implement a cohesive brand strategy across the entirety of the business; assuming the role of brand guardian and driving appropriate engagement with the customer in all forms of communication * The management of all aspects of the marketing function both off-line and online; to include paid search, online advertising, SEO, social media, direct marketing and CRM * Delivery of a marketing approach which is driven by data, insight and a clear understanding of attribution in relation to return on investment * Clear appreciation of the commercial environment and an ability to create timely and effective tactical campaigns * Build strong relationships with commercial marketing partners and deliver effective mutually beneficial joint marketing vehicles * Significant contributor to the overall business strategy What We're Looking For * A minimum of five years senior marketing management experience * Strong leader with the ability to work across all marketing disciplines * Bright, innovative marketer with the ability to drive change and challenge traditional practices * Thorough and current knowledge base of online and direct marketing principles and techniques * Track record in building and developing a strong, performant team that relishes change and challenge * Results driven with a track record in developing successful brand strategies and delivering customer focused segmented marketing campaigns * Strong communication skills and the ability to build excellent internal and third party relationships * Great motivator with the ability to deliver several initiatives within challenging timescales * A passion for travel and ability to travel to destinations featured What We Can Offer * Competitive salary * Holiday entitlement of 25 days increasing with service to 28 days * Holiday concession purchase * Affinity reward scheme - online discounts on products & services * Late seat and accommodation offers * Childcare vouchers * Cycle to work scheme * In-flight discount of 20% * Foreign exchange discount at TUI retail outlets * Contributory Pension scheme * Career progression opportunities Job Division: Specialist & Activity Location: Surbiton head of marketing crystal ski surbiton senior management team marketing function strategy customer communication crm social media seo online advertising

At A Glance Based in Surbiton/ Crawley. We are currently recruiting a Trainee Service Desk Analyst for our Specialist Holiday Group sector. SHG is part of TUI Travel PLC Specialist & Activity Sector. As part of an IT technical Team the primary role of the Trainee Service Desk Technician is to take proactive role supporting the businesses in the maintenance and upkeep of existing IT infrastructure, IT applications, IT equipment and UK Telecoms services. What You'll Be Doing * Provide first line IT/Telecoms support to the SHG business. * Assist in supporting and maintaining all IT hardware and Telecoms. * Assist in Installing and maintaining network cabling and associated hardware as necessary. * IT Software support, installation and configuration. * Help or investigate how to help users with their normal day to day IT/Telecoms issues. * Assist in the administration and maintenance of Communications (both voice and data), email and blackberry services. * Be second point of contact for all IT/telecoms related issues at all SHG sites, including overseas. * Assist/liaise with contractors, third parties and/or other members of the group in supplying IT services to the SHG business. * Ensure all relevant information/paperwork relating to IT is communicated effectively and accurately, internally within IT support and externally to the business. * To assist and/or deliver project work out side the scope of support when required * To ensure service levels, team objectives and KPI's are met. * Pro-actively identify problems and trends and propose solutions and recommendations to optimise systems performance and stability. * To assist in transition process from either an internal or external IT development team into IT support. * Create and maintain IT support documentation where missing or incorrect. Involved in a range of e-commerce projects and activity, the Front End Developer is responsible for producing front-end code to deliver day-to-day web merchandising, content updates and enhancements across the Specialist websites. The web channel is a strategically critical route to market and the Web Sales & Operations teams within each location both play a central role as a driver of business success. What You'll Be Doing 1. Planning & Delivery * Be accountable for time estimates for development work and ensure that work is completed on time. * Manage own workload within a project. * Take a proactive role in identifying and resolving technical and functional errors across all sites * Escalate any requirements that become undeliverable due to changes in scope, resource or cost parameters 2. Developments * Take requirements from within the business for new or changing functionality on the site. * Translate Photoshop designs, producing highly usable, standards compliant and progressively enhanced XHTML/CSS templates and pages. * Work on day-to-day updates to the sites that involve simple graphics work and changes to existing code, taking a steer from the existing site design. * Deliver of on-site promotions, online marketing campaigns and merchandising. * Implement non-geographic published content (e.g. Sales Centre phone numbers, booking T&Cs) * Support the Sales Centre and Trade teams in answering day to day web queries * Support the UX team in developing the front-end for large-scale projects and site redesigns. * Adhere to department standards on code, environment configuration management, project lifecycle, and release procedures. * Ensure developments work across all supported browsers. * Work closely with the Online Marketing ream to ensure all relevant SEO, PPC and analytics requirements are built in from day one. * Maintain a highly organised level of working standard - adhering to our working practices and helping us to develop them to become more efficient and effective. 3. Benchmarking * Regularly monitor developments in E-Commerce, web interactivity and competitor websites and recommend enhancements to TUI Travel's Web Platform * Build your own knowledge of latest web technologies and user centred design through online and offline reading, attending events and sharing knowledge with the other web teams around the business * Transfer knowledge across brands and initiatives.
