Job Title: Pre-Sales Systems Engineer Location: Feltham or City Office, UK preferred This role will be working within the UKI Public Sector National Security Team. As such this role will be ideal for an experienced Systems Engineer with a strong knowledge of Cisco Foundation Technology such as Routing and Switching or Datacentre technologies. The individual should also have a strong interest in business development and proactive engagement with a range of clients across Government. The individual will report to the Systems Engineering Manager for National Security and Central Government. The candidate should ideally be southern or midlands based and prepared to operate within central London and South England. A knowledge of all the key Cisco technology architectures such as Borderless Networks, Collaboration, and Data Centre/Virtualisation would be highly useful along with knowledge of business drivers in Government, knowledge of the Government vertical market and previous pre-sales experience and a distinct advantage. Responsibilities: - Provide technical and sales support for accounts in assigned territory. - Focus on strategic accounts - Assist with the development of formal sales plans and proposals for assigned opportunities. - Consult with customers to understand their needs and design effective solutions - Deliver technical presentations for customers, partners and prospects. - Keep up-to-date on the market, competitive solutions, products and services. - Actively participate as a specialist on assigned Virtual Team and provide consultative support in their area of specialization to other Systems Engineers.
