Fidessa is looking for a Operational Software Engineer. The Global Operational Services Team work on global projects and are based in the UK and US. You will be providing technical analysis and 3rd line support along with helping to build tools and reports to aid the smooth running of Fidessa's operational environment and services. This environment supports a large and demanding global trading community, connecting with the largest equity and derivative exchanges through a global network. Key Requirements: Hold an IT, numerate or business related Degree or equivalent experience Methodical approach to complex problem solving. Ability to work under pressure, proactively utilising contacts to resolve issues. Familiarity with a modern UNIX environment, such as Linux or Solaris.
