C / C++ Developer - Contract, Digital TV, Broadcast, DVB A C / C++ Developer is required by my client in the South West of the UK, you will have strong experience of writing C code and understand Networking/Ethernet to a good capacity. The C / C++ Developer will be required to write code in a Linux environment running on a PC/Server so whilst Embedded Linux experience would be good it is not mandatory. You will be working with Third-Party API's and PCI Cards (Option Cards) and you will be heavily involved with bringing offline measure data into a real-time format. The successful candidate will need; C / C++ Development Skills Ethernet or Networking Skills Any experience in the Digital Video Broadcasting or DVB Industry would be advantageous as is knowledge of MPEG Codecs. You will need to demonstrate a confident and clear communications style. Experience of legal processes and researching skills would be useful but not essential, as training will be provided for any legally based activities accompanying this role.
