Sheridan Maine has a requirement for an interim Financial Accountant to undertake a long-term contract assignment with our client based in the Basingstoke area. The role requires a technically strong qualified Financial Accountant to prepare monthly reporting for the business entities whilst enduring accuracy and compliance. In addition to these duties the post will also include some system project activities. The ideal candidate will be available to commence a role at short notice and possess solid financial accounting experience gained within a larger organisation; working knowledge of US GAAP reporting & strong analytical skills. Previous systems project exposure will be a distinct advantage. Salary is pro rata. Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK full-time without restriction. Our client, a successful Manufacturing organisation, is actively seeking a strong Management Accountant to support a small finance team during a period of heightened activity. The ideal candidate will have a SME background and demonstrate strong experience around management accounting, budgets, re-forecasting and an awareness of the movement of stock. You will also have a good level of Excel ability and be confident with working with a number of non-finance professionals. We are actively seeking a strong Technical Accountant to manage the financial reporting requirements of a large service based organisation to include all month end, forecasts, budgets and strategic planning. Managing a small team you will take responsibility for fully completed reporting packs, statutory account schedules and managing the function in line with corporate policies, processes and procedures. The role will involve working closely with a number of Finance Managers in the business to ensure the timely management of statutory information and driving forward continuous improvement. You will also support and manage the external audit requirements and be a main point of contact for all tax queries. The role will also involve the management of a key project to restructure the current legal entity configuration which will involve numerous stakeholder relationships across the wider business.
