At A Glance Based in Tewksbury. We are currently recruiting a Sales Executive to join the Education division of TUI Travel PLC's Specialist & Activity Sector. The Sales executives are responsible for the lead role in promoting all services that Gullivers Sports Travel offer to the playing tours market. Being the champion for the customer through product knowledge and close liaison with Product and Marketing teams when developing programmes to meet with customers needs now and in the future. What You'll Be Doing * Responding to and logging all telephone calls immediately. * Responding to online enquiries within one working day. * Ensuring maximum conversion of enquiries to confirmed bookings. * Developing the sales area allocated by creating new leads, but also servicing existing clients. * Performing face to face meetings and group presentations as and when necessary. * Preparing quotes for customer requests in an accurate and timely fashion. * Upselling services - ensuring maximum financial returns on each tour. * Generating customer invoices and despatching to clients. * Ensuring efficient final delivery of services to clients. * Inspiring full confidence in the customer throughout the booking process. * Maintaining good relationships with suppliers. * Representing the brands in resort as tour leaders if requested. * Working as part of a team within the brands represented along with other brands within TUI Travel. What We're Looking For Essential skills / qualifications: * Strong sales background * Well travelled and knowledge of destinations that are popular * Pro-active 'can-do' attitude. * A real team player * Attention to detail and high level of accuracy. * Passion for exceeding customer expectations. * Microsoft Office - word / excel / powerpoint. * Computer literacy and aptitude to master new systems * Commercial aptitude - ability to upsell. Desirable attributes * A suitable degree in Travel Management/Sports * Knowledge/Experience of selling to schools, clubs and universities * Good understanding of Maximizer CRM and Travellink booking system * Passion for travel and sport.
