Electrical Contracts Manager The Person: The Electrical Contracts Manager will have experience in managing small works or managing electrical contracting business in a similar position. Time served with a practical background and onsite experience you will have covered all aspects of the trade. You will be capable of taking the overall responsibility of projects from the initial enquiry to completion and hand over. This will include commercial and Local Authority Housing Association Works. As the Electrical Contracts Manager you will require excellent communication skills, a positive and professional attitude and a willingness to play a central role in the continuing growth of the company. The idea candidate will be commutable distance to our offices. Applicants experience in the following areas: * Preparation of accurate tenders. An advantage but not essential. * Subsequent liaison with clients to contract stage. * Management of materials, suppliers and specialist contractors. * To win and deliver projects to a high quality and safety standard whilst delivering tendered margin. * Manage the survey , estimating and resource provision of our client * Possess a full clean driving licence * Have run projects/contracts from 50 - 500k * Be 17th edition qualified * Experience in estimating * Must be able to manage teams and plan resources * Capable of using Microsoft planning tools, excel, project etc You will have experience in managing electrical projects or managing an electrical contracting business in a similar senior position. An exciting new opportunity has arrived for field surveyors to work on the Government `free loft and cavity wall insulation for every home in the UK` Grant. The role involves being self-generating by obtaining leads on a door to door basis by carrying out a free survey on the houses that need home insulation and get remunerated for each survey completed. We look for a minimum of 4 measures per day. This is not a sales position as essentially what you are offering is 100% free - if eligible.
