Our client is a successful construction, development, maintenance, investment and management group operating throughout England, predominantly in London and the southern counties. We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic IT Systems Specialist to join our IT Team in East Sussex Working in a team that supports around 450 users your primary focus will be on supporting and administering the IT systems used in their Facilities Maintenance Division. Previous experience of supporting FM Systems including resource scheduling and mobile functionality is desirable. Support of internal interfaces and interfaces with client systems is also part of this role. At a Glance: Based in Brighton. We are currently recruiting a Sales Administration Assistant for our Travelbound business. Travelbound is one of the UK's leading School Tour Operators providing schools with tailored Educational tours to Europe and Worldwide. Travelbound is positioned within the Education Division of TUI's Specialist and Activity sector. Working closely with all members of the Sales team you will provide vital support to the team, helping with the day to day administration to assist in winning bookings and increasing our market share. You will also provide specific support to allocated sales team members to allow them to perform their roles as efficiently and successfully as possible. You will assist in loading quotes on Travelink, maintaining correct information on Maximizer and during busy times help contact clients and school bursars on behalf of the Account Managers. Other duties which will filter down from senior sales staff will also come under the remit for your role which is seen as a crucial development for the smooth running of the team. What You'll Be Doing: * Provide administration support to the Travelbound Sales team. * Helping with the day to day administration to assist in winning bookings and increasing Travelbound's market share. * Provide specific support to allocated sales team members to allow them to perform their roles as efficiently and successfully as possible. * Create bookings by loading quotes on Travelink and produce letters. * Amend bookings with any necessary changes requested by the party leader or Account Manager. * Maintaining correct information on Maximizer (our CRM system). * During busy times help contact clients and school bursars on behalf of the Account Managers. * Assist Senior Sales Manager with some reporting requirements. * Daily and on-going updating of the sales boards. * Other duties which filter down from senior sales staff will also come under the remit for your role which is seen as a crucial development for the smooth running of the team. * Perform other duties as required, the needs of the business are constantly changing and a flexible approach to work duties will be needed as specified by the line manager. What We're Looking For * Good commercial skills and attention to detail when loading quotes and producing paperwork. * Ability to forge close working relationships with the Account Managers you support. * Excellent administration and organisational skills. * Offer a full level of support until the booking confirms. * Ability to work well as part of a team and under pressure with a desire to help reach the department's targets. * Although this is not a sales role in itself incoming calls will need to be answered by sales admin and phone cover is needed whilst people are away from their desks. Therefore a good and confident telephone manner is required at all times. * Constantly challenging yourself to increase product knowledge and commercial acumen and an understanding of the National Curriculum to make your job and knowledge of the Account Managers requirements easier to understand. Application Requirements * Proven administration experience is necessary in this role. * Word, Excel and Outlook skills are essential. * Comfortable in working in a target driven environment and handling the pressures that can come with it. * Demonstrate good communication skills in order to build relations with internal team members. Travelbound is positioned within the Education Division of TUI's Specialist and Activity sector. What You'll Be Doing * Selling a wide range of educational tours directly to schools. Where possible sales should be directed to filling our committed units generating incremental business. * Cold calling schools to secure new business. * Ensuring re-bookers from your area are contacted in a timely fashion and book with Travelbound again. * Overseeing the pricing and administration of all bookings until confirmation. * Using and updating mailing lists and Maximizer (our CRM system) to maintain and increase business in your area. * Pre and post tour calls to all customers to ensure that they have everything they need just prior to departure and to get their feedback on the success of the tour post departure. What We're Looking For * Demonstrate the ability to sell products over the phone directly to party leaders from both inbound and outbound calls. * Ability to forge close relationships with party leaders to ensure they trust that what you sell them is right for their group. * Good Commercial skills and attention to detail when loading quotes and producing paperwork. * Excellent administration skills as you will be responsible for overseeing the administration of the booking until confirmed status. * Ability to work well as part of a team and under pressure with a desire to meet and exceed targets. * Ability to support with new product development and marketing initiatives. * Proven sales experience is essential in order to grow the role. * Work, Excel & Outlook skills are essential. * Outgoing and lively personality with enthusiasm to succeed. * Ability to negotiate in tough situations and comfortable working in a target driven environment and handling the pressures that come with it. * Demonstrate strong communication skills in order to effectively manage and build relations with external and internal customers.
