The Department: Temple Heelis LLP has a specialist Private Client department headed up by two STEP qualified solicitors. All aspects of Private Client work are undertaken with a particular emphasis on tax and succession planning for high net worth individuals. The firm can trace its history back to 1822. One of our predecessors, William Heelis, married Beatrix Potter. The firm has built up a loyal client base across the South Lakes region. The department is forward thinking and energetic. We pride ourselves on our service to clients which is delivered by a collegiate approach involving all members of staff. The Role: A full time position for a solicitor with one to three years PQE with demonstrable experience in drafting Wills and Trust deeds, advising clients on capital tax mitigation and elderly client matters. (Private Client experience essential, property/Conveyancing experience preferable. Key Tasks: To provide high quality advice in the following areas: * Will drafting * General succession advice * Advising regarding Inheritance Tax * Estate Administration * Drafting Lasting Powers of Attorney * Advising on applications to the Court of Protection * Property issues advising in connection with the categories mentioned above. This is a great opportunity for a Private Client solicitor who is experienced in handling a caseload of Wills, Estate Administration and Court of Protection matters. Conveyancing experience is desirable but not essential. The position would suit a solicitor who is STEP qualified or has aspirations to become so.
