At A Glance Fixed term maternity cover, based in High Wycombe We are currently recruiting a Management Accountant for World Challenge. World Challenge is part of TUI Travel PLC Specialist & Activity Sector. World Challenge plan and deliver exciting, educational expeditions to over 50 destinations within the developing world, from South America to Mongolia! We offer the opportunity for over 400 school groups to enter into a programme of learning and development; fundraising; and team building, culminating in a 1-5 week Expedition. Our aim is to ensure that the young challengers experience an awe-inspiring range of community project work, trekking and cultural adventure. World Challenge sells internationally and currently has offices in the UK, Melbourne, Boston and Dubai. As the management accountant you will be required to prepare accounts and forecasts for the UK and Europe business units for review by the Finance Director. Key Financial Statements are then consolidated for TUI Group reporting purposes. The role is for a fixed term 12 month contract to cover maternity leave; however a permanent contract maybe available after the fixed term has concluded. What You'll Be Doing * Producing management accounts for the UK business. * Production of weekly KPI's * Monthly balance sheet reconciliations. * Review of P&L spend against Forecast * Reconciliation of all inter-company loans. * Monthly re-forecasting. * Assisting in production of monthly board packs. * Assist in the Year End audit * Assist in Cash flow forecasting and management - on a weekly basis * Review and approval of International Bank Transfers * Review quarterly VAT returns. * Review quarterly CAA returns * Any other frequent ad hoc projects and pieces of work required by the MD, or FD. What We're Looking For Experience * Studying towards Accountancy qualification * 2/5 years experience in accountancy * Microsoft Excel 2010 (intermediate-essential). * Experience in the use of accountancy software, Pegasus Opera or Sun preferred Person specification: * Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise a large work load. * Eye for detail to spot errors. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Good customer service skills. * Will have to quickly gain good knowledge of how the Finance function fits in with the World Challenge academic year cycle. The job description of this position is two fold - 1) Customer Facing Engineer responsible for being on-site at our largest customers daily for technical assistance and Technical Program Manager responsible for coordinating with the engineering teams, customers, etc... The Sponsor Ticket Manager will report directly to the Ticket Operations Manager pre-games working as part of the pre-event team for sorting and collation, and will be allocated to a particular Sponsor programme for Games-time. Duties & Responsibilities Pre-Games: The Ticket Manager will work as part of the Ticketing Management team to sort and collate London 2012 tickets for on-site distribution, liaising with the Sponsor teams throughout. * Liaise with Sponsor Account Manager to agree programme ticket packing instruction and delivery instruction, including timelines * Provide where required seating maps for client by PowerPoint * Liaise with Guest Services team to generate Programme ticket allocation report * Allocation of tickets to clients into the ticket packing reports * Assisting with packing of tickets into client envelopes for all client programmes * Overseeing packing of specific Client programmes as instructed Implementing treble-check process * Sorting and labelling tickets ready for on-site distribution Games-Time: The Ticket Manager will be the main point of contact for all ticketing activities, communication and reporting on the Programme. Specific responsibilities will include: 1.
