As part of our continued and impressive growth, we are currently recruiting for a Maintenance Electrician who will be based from our Aberdeen site but work also at client sites and occasionally offshore. The position will include but not be limited to:- - Fault finding and trouble shooting on a wide range of industrial equipment. - Fault finding and trouble shooting on equipment for hazardous area location both on and offshore - Installation, repair and testing of equipment suitable for application in hazardous area locations both on and offshore to ensure compliance with relevant standards - Installation, repair and testing of onshore electrical installations and equipment to ensure compliance with BS7671:1992 (17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations) Applicants will be expected to fulfil the following:- - You will be 17th edition qualified and have a proven track record within a maintenance background. You must also have previous commercial, client facing experience. - Must have served a recognised 4 year apprenticeship with applicable minimal qualifications. - Preferably but not essential Certified to work equipment suitable for application in hazardous area locations i.e., Compex Certificate or equivalent. - Preferably Certified to work to BS7671:1992 (17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations) - Preferably, but not essential, holding valid Offshore Survival Certificate and UKOOA Medical.
