Job Description My client is a specialist independent financial administrator to hedge funds and asset management firms. Due to significant growth in the business my client is looking for a qualified accountant to join the Fund Accounting Client Service team in the London office. The successful candidate will have a background in discipline such as product control or fund accounting, and will need to liaise with staff and clients on a variety of accounting and operational issues. Main Responsibilities * To act as the senior point of contact for hedge fund clients. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced web developer to join a well-reputed and passionate eCommerce solutions agency in London that designs, builds, hosts and supports market-leading eCommerce sites for Multichannel Retailers and luxury Brands. They are looking to recruit an experienced ASP, ASP.NET Web Developer. You will be required to be involved hands-on in the planning, design and development process. You will need excellent knowledge of Microsoft Web development technologies and some understanding of eCommerce site development, usability principles and marketing. You should have the ability to gather and understand client requirements; communicate this clearly through written documents and verbally to clients and your design/development teams and to follow through on ensuring consistent quality and fulfilment. You will be overseeing the project from start to finish, making sure that the projects are completed on time and in budget. You should have strong references. The preferred candidate would be able to demonstrate and have the following skills: - ASP ASP.NET , MS SQL development, T-SQL skills and experience - JavaScript, JQuery, DHTML. XML techniques - Frontend development skills - Photoshop, HTML, CSS, XML - Understanding of VB development - Experience with MS Commerce Server or other eCommerce platforms would be of advantage - Understanding of eCommerce and online marketing techniques and strategies - A strong understanding and interest in ecommerce and online marketing techniques and startegies - Project management experience - Excellent customer facing communication skill and team leading - Self-motivation, enthusiasm and ability to get the job done to high standards - Candidate needs to be extremely efficient and organised as it is a multi tasking, multi project management - Ability to work well within a deadline-based environment - Fast learner *No calls from Agencies please asp asp net web developer
