Our SQL team of seven are currently working on the launch of new platform supporting International cards and UK Loans, Application system upgrades, Enterprise Data Warehouse and BI development as well as continual improvement of the core Credit Card business. In summary, your key responsibilities will be: *Architect and build new database (T-SQL) and ETL solutions (SSIS/ DTS) for strategic projects and key business initiatives *Provide consultancy to business users where required translating technical terminology and concepts for the understanding of the end user *Design and create Business Intelligence solutions (cubes) *Support SQL Server environments and processes to achieve departmental and company BAU uptime SLAs (including out of hours support as standard) *Ensure the department's adherence to the banks change and release management practises supported by appropriate source control tools (Redgate SQL Source Control and Microsoft Team Foundation Server) More specifically, you'll need to cover the following: *Development and Maintenance of T-SQL Scripting, Stored Procedures, DTS/SSIS and ETL routines *Create and maintain OLAP cubes using SSAS *Develop and maintain reporting using SSRS and other tools *T-SQL query optimisation *Ensure that new data sources are compatible with the data warehouse infrastructure and can be accommodated via ETL techniques *Provide consultancy to business colleagues (departmental and project orientated) regarding application, solution, ETL and database development and design. *As and when required, carry out database administration and maintenance tasks including capacity planning, security and integrity planning, index generation, performance tuning (including ETL and stored procedures) and any other associated administration processes *Support and adherence to Change Management practices *Work with Third Parties to deploy changes to data structures and content *Troubleshoot failures of implemented processes, including those designed and implemented by other Database developers, administrators or external resources *Migration to, and support of, SQL 2008/12 including rewriting of DTS ETL procedures into SSIS You'll need knowledge of the following: *Database development techniques and technologies *Data Warehousing techniques and technologies *SQL 2005/8 (essential) Experience, skills and behaviours: *You also have a proven track record in database design, development and ETL technologies and excellent Transact SQL skills *You are trained and practiced in Data Warehouse technologies and techniques *You have experience of working on large projects *You have experience of SQL Server database administration techniques and processes *A Microsoft Certified Developer qualification would be a distinct advantage *We need someone who is adaptable and able to work as part of a Team using initiative alongside their more analytical skills *You'll need to be a strong communicator who is able to build relationships whilst driving and managing change *You are confident in your decision making and understand the change management process

Most importantly, the Centre Manager must be able to inspire both staff and students leading by example with a clear and effective management style. Working Hours The Centre Manager works 6 days out of 7 each week. Skills And Qualifications Applicants must have excellent management skills, be able to work within budgets and lead a team of staff. The ability to work under pressure and multi-task is also essential. Applicants must be computer literate as managers have full control of the centre by using IT systems. Key Tasks * Develop the annual marketing plan for the UK based on agreed KPIs for sales acquisition /lead generation, brand awareness, PR coverage Challenger retention and online engagement. * Build a market leading online portal for WCE to engage with students, parents and teachers so as to complement and embrace existing popular social media channels. * Work with the planning, flights and sales department heads to agree product pricing and monitor margin protection as part of the research and sales analyst function. * To work with the UK Sales Director to agree the 'tool box' of sales promotions and how and when these are applied to include the margin effect. * To work with colleagues from across all markets to ensure that the WCE brand message and experience promise is consistent, relevant, engaging and inspirational. * Ensure that a focus on promoting WCE through PR * Work with sister brands within the division to drive efficiencies and best practice Ecommerce * Own the commercial performance of the online channel: * Establish weekly monthly and seasonal reports complete with commentary to document the commercial performance and engagement rations of Students, Parents and teachers * To establish an industry leading digital communications portal, drive natural search through embracing web 3.0 and establish KPIs to measure and monitor growth in web usage. * Accelerate SEO work in addition to assessing WCE use of PPC and choice of social media to include moderation of user generated content. * Assess, plan and priortise the relationship and interactivity between online communication channels favoured by students and teachers alongside the WCE portal. PR * Manage PR to achieve brand awareness in the national, regional and trade press * Work to identify key titles / journalists who could undertake a World Challenge * Manage all press releases Operational responsibilities * To oversee the UK and EMEA marketing investment * To ensure that all branded promotional items and materials in support of the sales cycle are available on time and within budget Strategic involvement * To work with the market General Managers and Regional Sales Directors to ensure that they embrace the online and brand developments in addition to incorporating group business requirements * Work with regional marketing staff to develop consistent plans and work towards global objectives and sharing content and best practice throughout WCE. * To work with the Leadership Team to develop an over-arching marketing strategy and investment programme with well-structured KPIs and ROI in support of group growth objectives. * To work with other teams within the Education Division (e.g. Edwin Doran, Travelbound etc.) to identify lead schools with which to forge contractual agreements and SLAs. * To support 'The Edge' reward programme and drive increased participation in line with division targets. Staffing Responsibility * To manage a team of 3 staff based at High Wycombe Project Management * To oversee the planning and on-going development of UK and International websites * Integration of Facebook and My World Challenge * Online Applications (on-going project) * Product Planning Tool (Part of a wider cross functional team) System Responsibilities * To manage the website CMS and links with social media platforms * To appreciate how companywide platforms (EMS, Maximiser, Data Junction and House on the Hill) work together in support of customer management and business information. * Manage the school / teacher databases. What We're Looking For Experience: * Website & social media expertise - .net or druple * Must have worked within a social media driven environment (preferably focused on marketing to students/youth) and have experience of a multi-site business. * 1st degree in Business Studies and Marketing specific qualification (IDM or CIM Diploma) * Department (staff) responsibility Person specification: * Love of the outdoors, travel and adventure * Energy, optimism and can-do attitude * Strong communicator who can interact with all stakeholders including senior management * Analytical and numerically strong. Job Purpose and Summary This role is for the position of Partner Manager. Being responsible for the total account management of a number of our UK key account Distributors and second tier management of important channel Resellers. A background in Key Account Management, managing a broad IT related product range and experience of the first and second tier UK IT Channel will be key to the success in this role. Responsibilities and Tasks Through relationship management, conduct regular multi-level contact meetings within all allocated accounts (First and Second tier) to the most senior level. Successfully implement and monitor Best in class Business Planning processes, coordinating all appropriate resources to achieve the agreed Strategic and Tactical objectives. Responsible for utilising, planning and managing investments to achieve an effective ROI, Sales growth and gross profit targets. Ensure through effective communications a two-way feedback between Canon channels and key accounts, successfully managing all plans, initiatives and promotions are driven, supported and monitored. Ownership of key Distribution account segmented data base and development of strategies for securing a greater share of customer business and Canon channel market share growth. Planning, organising and co-ordinating internal and external resources to achieve the agreed business plan to ensure Sales revenue and profit growth. Provide the required input, maintenance and analysis of all Canon system data management tools to specified deadlines. Accurate business forecasting of Allocated Distributors to maximise full sales growth expectations with an efficient and effect supply chain.
