Product Support Engineer / Electronic Support Engineer / Technical Support Engineer / Technical Engineer / Electrical Engineer - Based near M23 Gatwick Airport, Surrey - Permanent Position to Start ASAP, £26-30k + Great Benefits Dependent on Experience!!! My prestigious client has an urgent requirement for a Product Support Engineer / Technical Support Engineer. The role will consist of providing technical support to the MOD (generally on military bases/installations) and Governmental bodies, external suppliers and internal engineering teams for current electronic defined products and systems. My client is looking for someone to start ASAP and the majority of the role will be based in Surrey office (just off the M23 and near Gatwick Airport), though there is the potential for travel to external sites and even limited international travel. Commutable from London, Crawley, East Grinstead, Surrey, South Coast etc… My client is offering a generous starting salary with excellent bonuses. Essential requirements for the role, * HNC or Higher in Electronics. * Two years' experience in a similar role. * Excellent communication skills with customers, both verbal and written. * RF Electronic understanding * General understanding in at least one of following - HF/VHF/UHF * Digital and Analogue Circuit knowledge * Ability to work in Windows and UNIX Environments * Exposure to IT/Networks * MUST BE eligible for D/V Level Security Clearance * MUST BE prepared to gain S/C Level Security Clearance * MUST NOT Suffer from Sea-Sickness Highly Preferable requirements, * Currently possess S/C level security clearance * SATCOM or GPS knowledge * Familiarity with Antennas * Experience working on Naval Platforms * Have working knowledge of Microwave technology To include yourself in the shortlisting process, please send your CV, Salary Expectations and Availability to Tom Craner, ASAP and I will contact you with more details. We are a job shop , production shop, tool & die and mold shop that services the oil, gas, petrochemical, plastics, construction and forestry industry and more. For both positions we require a minimum a technician or trade cert and 10 years experience in a manufacturing environment. Our wages range from $26 to $33 CAD (16 to 20) per hour plus overtime, based on relevant experience, and $5 CAD/hr (3)/hr afternoon shift premium. We offer health/dental/vision/life insurance benefits, profit sharing, pension, and social committee. The primary responsibility of CNC Programmers is to program, set-up and run short to large runs in a timely and efficient manner. We have Machining Centres ranging from 2 to 5 axis CNC Mills & Lathes. For CNC Programmers we require at least 5 years experience programming/utilizing CAM software. Experience with EDM Machines is an asset. The primary responsibility of Manual Machinists is for the Programming, Set-up and Operation of Conventional Lathes, Mills and Drill Presses in a cost efficient and timely manner. Experience with teach lathes and/or complex manual machining an asset. All employees are responsible to perform in-process cleaning and inspection, and communicate and collaborate with other team members when necessary.
