Our client, a leading Fashion Retailer, is currently recruiting for a Financial Controller (qualified). Reporting directly to the FD, you will oversee a small Finance team and take responsibility for: preparation of monthly management accounts to agreed deadlines; preparation of detailed sales analysis and cost of sales analysis by product and by customer, customer profitability and ad hoc reviews on behalf of the Directors; KPI reporting; preparation of the VAT Returns and Intrastat reports; management of royalty income process; management of fixed-asset register; preparation of audit files and liaising with Auditors. Candidates will be ideally qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA with experience within retail/wholesale businesses ideally using third party warehousing. Job Description: - Responsible to review, analyze, and evaluate business systems and user needs for process improvement, upgrade, system replacement, system enhancement, or issue resolution, within the order and inventory management function, and will particularly focus on support for a distributed order management application - Meet with decision makers, systems owners, and end users to define business requirements, and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues. - Utilize standard PLC templates to accurately and concisely write requirement and functional specifications. Document functional business requirement and interpret into system designs. - Coordinate and perform in-depth tests, including system, integration, and customer acceptance, for modified and new systems, and other post-implementation support. Provide orientation to end users for all modified and new systems. Manage and track the status of requirements throughout the project life cycle; enforce and redefine as necessary. - Support Distributed Order Management (DOM), Sales order processing, E-commerce, retail & wholesale customer service, and warehouse allocations - Manages and executes projects related to systems supported Required Skills and Experience: - Minimum of 3+ years of Business/Systems Analysis experience is required for either role (additional years of experience for the Sr. role) - Distributed Order Management experience is highly desired - Order and Inventory Management (ERP) is essential - Proven experience in Supply Chain technology and retail domain. - Experience in distributed order management (DOM) preferred, and experience in allocation, sales order management systems is essential - Proven experience and skills in Project Management.
