IFDS is theUK's leading supplier of investor-recordkeeping services and systems to theUKdomestic and to the European "offshore" market. We are looking for an Application Support Analyst to provide 2nd and 3rd line support on complex applications. You will be interacting with internal and external teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems. You will deliver high quality operational and technical application and systems support to IFDS customers and internal business functions ABOUT YOU: * Experience in administering RHEL and Windows server environments * Experience with networks and Firewall security * Experience with supporting multi-tier infrastructures * Experience of writing SQL queries * Experience with RDBMS * Experience with supporting Java and .NET applications * Good understanding of web and E-commerce technology * Experience with supporting and administering web Servers (Apache, IIS) * Experience with supporting and administering some of the following: WebLogic, JBoss, Glassfish and/or Tomcat application Servers DESIRABLE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES * Experience in RDBMS (Oracle 10g/11g, MS SQL Server 2005/2008) * Scripting (Shell, MS DOS) * Experience inEnterpriseService Bus * Experience in performance testing * Experience in the Financial sector * Experiences with J2EE, JSPs, XML, SOAP, HTML * ITIL foundation certificate * Technical degree/qualification
