Showsec aims to utilise staff at large scale events and festivals that have been recruited and trained by the company and not external providers. To this end, we are currently recruiting for Festival Stewards for us to train in readiness to work in Scotland over the summer of 2012. You will form an essential part of the event safety management team, acting as the eyes and ears of the Event Safety Manager. You will provide the highest levels of customer care and you will ensure the absolute care, comfort and well being of all festival goers. You must be available to work as a Festival Steward between 6th and 8th July in Kinross and 2nd and 5th August in Inverness. Transport will be available from various locations, including Edinburgh and Glasgow. Training is online and can be completed at your own pace and in your own time. You must have access to the internet in order to complete the training. You may also then be given the opportunity to work at other festivals throughout the UK in 2012 and once the summer is over you will not be removed from our books!
