The position will include but not be limited to:- - Fault finding and trouble shooting on a wide range of industrial equipment. - Fault finding and trouble shooting on equipment for hazardous area location both on and offshore - Installation, repair and testing of equipment suitable for application in hazardous area locations both on and offshore to ensure compliance with relevant standards - Installation, repair and testing of onshore electrical installations and equipment to ensure compliance with BS7671:1992 (17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations) Applicants will be expected to fulfil the following:- - You will be 17th edition qualified and have a proven track record within an industrial maintenance background, ideally within oil and gas. You must also have previous commercial, client facing experience. - Must have served a recognised 4 year apprenticeship with applicable minimal qualifications. - Must be certified to work equipment suitable for application in hazardous area locations i.e., Compex Certificate or equivalent. - Knowledge and experience of Ex equipment for hazardous areas is required - Must be certified to work to BS7671:1992 (17th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations) - Preferably, but not essential, holding valid Offshore Survival Certificate and UKOOA Medical. The International Bar Association's Legal Projects Team works to create strategies and initiatives aimed at addressing some of the most pressing concerns faced by the global legal profession. Key Accountabilities: Middle East Representing the IBA for the Middle East, manage the IBA's programmes, initiatives and membership activity for the Middle East Region building awareness of the IBA in the region. Assist with holding local and regional events that will highlight the IBA's presence in the region; making contact with lawyers, legal organisations and government bodies.
