I am looking for a DBA and Infrastructure to design, load, monitor and tune the BI target databases. The successful candidate is open-minded, passionate and committed to the timely delivery of a job well done, as well as to behave with integrity and transparency. Must be FLUENT in SPANISH/ENGLISH. Main accountabilities: * To manage the relationship with data base providers to support issues, maintenance, implement new functionalities and updates * Review and adjustments of control programs of the system process and alarms on critical events (without alteration of sensitive data systems) * Participate in tasks related with Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and Disaster Recovery * Plan (DRP), taking the roles and responsibilities defined in the manuals * To make backup and restore of the data base * Responsible of the updates or new versions or releases in the data base * Administration of users and profiles (end users, programmers, data analysis and Datawarehouse managers) for accessing the database based on security policies of the company. * Process management (priorities, CPU usage) in the systems * Recommendations a bout type or data base configurations in order to support the Project management * Installation, configuration and tuning of the database (Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL, etc) * Responsible for applying patches and fixes provided by data base providers * Assure that the data base have all technical conditions in order to guarantee the normal performance of the systems * Create a strategy for security, integrity, performance and support logical and physical on the data base * To do sizing of the BI platforms * The database administrator assists the ETL lead developer with the ETL process flow and also reviews all database calls written by the ETL developers. On more than one occasion a database administrator has been able to streamline the ETL process by invoking little-known DBMS utilities at the appropriate point in the ETL process flow * The database administrator can be very instrumental during the ETL development process Requirements: * Strategic Responsibility * MS Office Skills * Relevant Business Process Knowledge * PLSQL * Network Planning * GSM, Cellular Technologies * Must be FLUENT in SPANISH/ENGLISH
