Sales director
In the UK, the average salary for a sales director is £53,148. As always, Greater London salaries are greater than the national average, coming in at an average of £60,047. Further north, the salaries are below the UK average. In the Greater Manchester area, sales directors earn an average of £48,365, while those in Glasgow fare slightly better, with an average of £49,428.

Sales manager
The average salary for a sales manager in the UK is £43,680. Again, Greater London pays a considerably higher average of £47,841. Unlike their sales director colleagues, however, sales managers living in Greater Manchester (£44,990) and in Glasgow (£46,301) earn salaries higher than the UK average.
